Special things happen when you choose the adoption option.  Here's a recent email we received that we just had to share...

We adopted “Dougie” last Tuesday from the Houston SPCA for our granddaughter Hillary. He was one of the 100 Shih Tzu's rescued in Tomball from that home that caught fire.  He is a precious little 1 year old boy that will eat anything that he finds in our garden so it's a challenge when we walk him in our back yard when we go outside. I'm sure it's from living with 99 dogs in one house.  We love our Dougie.
