This weekend the world celebrates 77 years of “Friendship Day.” It’s a
time to honor our friendships and an opportunity to make new lasting
relationships. Head down to the Houston SPCA this weekend and adopt a new
furry feline friend during our “Feline
Friendship Weekend.” Approved adopters can take home ANY FELINE AT NO FEE from Friday,
August 3rd through Sunday, August 5th. Hundreds of
cats and kittens are looking for real, lasting relationships and want to be
your purrfect
companion for life! (Limit 2 per household.)
Normal adoption feline fees range from $65 to $75, however, the entire
adoption package is valued at over $400 and includes:
- A
health evaluation, initial vaccinations and rabies vaccinations for felines
three months and older
- Spay
/ neuter surgery
- Deworming
- Microchipping
with free lifetime registration
- A
complimentary overall wellness exam from a VCA Animal Hospital
- One
free bag of cat / kitten food courtesy of Hill’s Science Diet
- And,
of course, a friend for life!

SPCA, 900 Portway Drive, Houston, TX 77024! The Houston SPCA is open
7 days a week from 11am to 7pm Monday through Friday and 10am to 6pm Saturday
and Sunday.
