While the world’s greatest golfers gather in South Carolina for this
weekend’s PGA Championship, the Houston SPCA is encouraging everyone to join
the gallery at 900 Portway Drive, Houston, TX where you’ll find perfect
pets that make the cut. From Friday, August 10th through
Sunday, August 12th, all cats and dogs “FORE” months of age and
older (*excluding those in the Spot Peabody Room) are just “FORE” dollars to
approved adopters.
Normal adoption fees range from $65 to $150, however, the entire adoption
package is valued at over $400 and includes:
- A
health evaluation, initial vaccinations and rabies vaccinations for
animals three months and older
- Spay
/ neuter surgery
- Deworming
- Microchipping
with free lifetime registration
- Heartworm
testing for canines 6 months and older
- A
complimentary overall wellness exam from a VCA Animal Hospital
- One
free bag of pet food courtesy of Hill’s
Science Diet
- And,
of course, a new best friend!

Portway Drive, Houston, TX 77024 is open 7 days a week from 11 am to 7 pm
Monday through Friday and 10 am to 6 pm Saturday and Sunday.
