Join the Houston SPCA and Tractor Supply Company at 1702A
11th Street in Huntsville on Saturday, August 18th from 9am to
3pm and meet some exceptional equines looking for permanent, loving homes.
Approved adopters will be able to take home the horse of their choice on
this very day. The cost to adopt a horse will range anywhere from $100 to
$400 and is based on the animal’s age, health and temperament. All
male equine up for adoption will be gelded, and all equines will be vaccinated,
dewormed and have a current Coggins test. If you are interested in
adopting a horse during the mobile adoption event at the Tractor Supply Company
in Huntsville, please complete the equine
and farm animal application at www.houstonspca.org,
then fill it out and submit it back to us so we can get the process started.
Many of these beautiful horses were rescued from cruelty, abuse and neglect
and, thanks to the Houston SPCA, given a second chance at life. During
their stay at the Houston SPCA, they received outstanding rehabilitative care
including superior veterinary care, quality nutrition, shelter and
socialization. They are now chomping at the bit to find a forever family.
