To celebrate Adopt-A-Shelter Dog month, the Houston SPCA encourages everyone
to choose the adoption option and is reducing adoption fees for felines AND canines to JUST FIVE DOLLARS
from Friday, October 19 through Sunday, October 21. *Some restrictions apply.
The normal adoption fee to adopt a canine or feline from the Houston SPCA is
$65 to $150; however, the entire adoption package is valued at over $400 and
includes:
- A
health evaluation, age-appropriate vaccinations and rabies vaccinations
for canines / felines three months and older
- Spay
/ neuter surgery
- Deworming
- Heartworm
testing for canines 6 months and older
- Microchipping
with free lifetime registration
- A
complimentary overall wellness exam from a VCA Animal Hospital
- One
adoption gift courtesy of Hill’s
Science Diet
- And,
of course a new fur-ever
friend!
The Houston SPCA, 900
Portway Drive, is the ONLY shelter in the metropolitan area that is open
seven days a week with convenient weekend and evening hours to make choosing
the adoption option easy! Visit the Houston SPCA Monday through Friday from 11
am to 7 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm.
*Excludes animals in the Spot Peabody Room; limit two per household.
