When Phoebe was just 5 months old, she was a victim of violence. She
was thrown from a window and suffered a broken leg, head trauma and needed a
helping hand. The Houston SPCA was there to heal her physical
wounds. Foster Mom, Constable Christine Kendrick, took the little pup
home and helped heal the emotional trauma this sweet little dog had endured in
her young life.
Today, at 7-months old, Phoebe is healthy, happy and has been adopted into a
loving home with Hazel. Every day, animals just like Phoebe come into the
Houston SPCA in need of emergency veterinary care, love and a second chance at
life.
