Animal Behavior Department
Welcome to the Behavior Department of the Houston SPCA! We are the sole training facility in the Harris County area that employs only college-educated, experienced Animal Behavior Specialists certified by nationally recognized organizations, such as the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants and the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.

Behavior consultations Do you have a pet that has a behavior that is concerning you? We specialize in working with animals that might not like other animals, bark at people or other dogs, have house-soiling issues, anxiety or fear based issues & more. Whether it’s a serious concern or something like a dog jumping on guests, we’re here with solutions.
