Once you sign up, you can customize your personal Web page with a picture of your pet and tell the world your reason for walking for the animals. Send e-mails to your family and friends to raise pledges for the animals in our care. Even if you can’t participate on event day, you can still help homeless pets by signing up for the event as a Cat Napper and raising pledges online.

Animal Talk Luncheon featuring Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.
Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. received a standing ovation following his speech at the 4th annual Animal Talk Luncheon. This year’s event, which took place on May 15th at the Hilton Post Oak Houston, was a tremendous success thanks to our wonderful donors, friends and volunteers. The DeLongchamps family, which includes Pete, Jana, Ryan, Maddie and Joey, received the 2008 Volunteers of the Year award. Animal Planet and VCA Animal Hospitals were also honored with the 2008 Media Partner Award and 2008 Community Partner Award, respectively.
Thanks again to everyone who supported this event! Later this summer we will announce the speaker for the 5th annual Animal Talk Luncheon in early May 2009.
