 The 15th Annual Houston SPCA Pet Telethon
The Show aired Saturday, August 29, 2009 3-8 pm on Houston's Channel 39. Houstonians tuned in to catch up on all the shelter happenings and see some great adoptable animals. If you missed the show, you can still send in your pledge today to help Houston's Homeless Animals. The event raised $334,527!!!! There is still time to support this important fundraising event! We invite you to join us for CATSANOVA, the 2009 Houston SPCA Ball. We are so excited to have this year’s event at the incredible Hotel ZaZa on Saturday, November 14, 2009. Catsanova will be there, along with his compatriots.
We hope that you will be able to join us for an Italian renaissance soiree - an evening of cocktails, dinner, premier silent auction, live entertainment, and dancing! CATSANOVA is guaranteed to be there, but you’ll have to come and see which of his compatriots float down the Grand Canal with him. Run for a reason in the Chevron Houston Marathon January 17, 2010.

The Houston SPCA Gets Kinky (Friedman that is)
The Houston SPCA was pleased to welcome Texas legend and animal lover Kinky Friedman as our keynote Speaker for the 2009 Animal Talk Luncheon. This year’s Luncheon took place Thursday, May 7th 2009 at Houston’s Premier Boutique Hotel ZaZa in the Museum District.
