WELCOME. The Houston SPCA was founded in 1924 and remains Houston's oldest and largest Animal Protection Organization. Completely privately funded, we are proud to serve more than 100,000 animals annually. We remain committed to our mission to promote commitment to and respect for all animals and to free them from suffering, abuse and exploitation.  The 2010 Houston SPCA Mutt Strut & Runway Race was a SUPER success! Nearly 2,000 runners, strutters and their best friends joined together to raise over $150,000 to help the Houston SPCA give homeless, abused and neglected animals a second chance at life. Houston SPCA President Patricia Mercer said, "The Houston Airport System is helping us make miracles come true with their kind and generous support of this extraordinary event and we are proud of our partnership." In addition, nearly 100 dogs got "chipped" at the event with a 24PetWatch Microchip ID. Official 5K results will be posted as soon!

Adoptions - Monday through Friday from 11 am to 7 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm.
Admissions (by appointment only) - Seven days a week from 9 am - 6 pm
