Spend a week with your favorite critters! We have 4 different weekly camps to choose from:
Animal Welfare Camp (Ages 8-12): We learn about the Houston SPCA, Vet Care, Adoption Day, and Small Mammals. We also study Animal Issues, including Exotic Animals and Endangered Animals & How We Can Help. Animal Welfare Camp is offered , July 5-9, and August 2-6.
Animal Kingdom Camp (Ages 8-12): We learn all about Fish, Mammals, Birds, Insects, and Reptiles & Amphibians. Alike? Different? Fascinating! Animal Kingdom Camp is offered June 14-18, July 12-16, and August 9-13.
Dog & Cat Camp (Ages 10-12): We focus on the characteristics and care of dogs and cats. Activities include dog walking, dog washing, cage cleaning, and learning about the needs of both cats and dogs. Dog & Cat Camp is offered June 21-25 and July 19-23.
Tween Career Camp (Ages 12-14): We include activities such as dog training, walking, and washing. We also spend time with cats as well as farm animals. We will also discuss so many careers available to animal lovers. Tween Career Camp is offered June 28-July 2 and July 26-30.
All camps include daily hands-on time with shelter animals!
Camp Fee: $275 per week (includes camp T-shirt, all craft materials, afternoon snack and drink) Where: Houston SPCA Annex (north of shelter bldg.), 7007 Katy Road, Houston, TX 77024 Time: Monday - Friday from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Campers will bring their own lunch each day. Please understand our age limits are firm.
