Below is a listing of found cats who have strayed from their home and now the people who found them are trying to get them home.  If you have lost a cat there's a chance that it has been found and the information has been posted here. 

Please note that Houston SPCA does not have information about these cats.  This site is only offered as a tool for our constituents who need help in finding a lost pet. If you wish to file a lost/found report with the Houston SPCA, you must come to the shelter in person.  We advise visiting all local shelters that accept strays at least every other day as you search for your lost pet.

All postings must be approved before being published.  Please allow up to 24 hours for your story to be visible on our website.

Postings will be automatically unpublished after 28 days and ad posters will need to re-post their ad if necessary.  Also, if you have reunited with a lost or found pet please contact us so we can remove your ad.

Warning! Sometimes unfriendly citizens use these types of websites to prey on people.  Houston SPCA urges you to use caution if you are contacted by someone claiming to have found your pet and asks you for a reward in exchange for the animal.  This is a common con and should be reported to your local law enforcement.

A sweet cat who is not afraid of dogs, kids or other cats, walked right into my home tonight. He/she is multi-colored (mainly brown, with tan streaks). Gorgeous with big, round eyes.

We found a tiny grey kitten on Kiam Street (near TC Jester) in Cottage Grove on 8/11/2010. It appears to be about 6 weeks old, a male, and about 2 pounds.
