Houston SPCA Will Host Clear the Shelters Adoption Event

Saturday, September 18 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

WHAT: The Houston SPCA will host a Clear the Shelters adoption event on their Campus for All Animals on Saturday, September 18 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. In addition to adoptable pets, the Clear the Shelters activities will include:

  • Seniors 60+ will receive discounts up to $50 off pet adoption fees.
  • All adopters will receive a special gift bag from Hill’s Pet Nutrition. Adoption package includes a veterinary exam, microchip, spay or neuter surgery, a free feline or canine sample bag of Hill’s Science Diet, and a free post-adoption exam from any VCA animal hospital.
  • Live native wildlife meet & greets in the Adoption Center throughout the afternoon.
  • Free balloon animals, cotton candy and Kona Ice snow cones from Noon to 3 p.m. (while supplies last).
