Human Resources Generalist (Texas, Houston)

  • Manage cyclical projects including, but not limited to annual performance appraisal process, birthday lists, turnover reports, monthly staff meeting and OSHA reporting.

Wildlife Team Member (Texas, Houston)

Essential Functions of the Position:

Our hospital is equipped with modern diagnostic equipment for triaging injured animals from the eight counties that make up the Greater Houston area. They ensure that animals are cared for medically and rehabilitated, and their expert witness testimony can bring justice for the innocent victims of animal cruelty, abuse and neglect.

Our compensation package is extremely competitive; ranging from $115,000 - 130,000 per year. Nature & Scope: The position?s primary responsibilities include a wide variety of activities to be performed within assigned standard procedures which may involve decision making between several standard alternatives. Care Coordinator (Texas, Houston)

Responsible for the coordination and supervision of the Care Specialist Team at the Houston SPCA, to include: oversight of adoption programs, admissions, companion animal husbandry, & client assistance.

Essential Functions of the Position:

Equine Team Member (Texas, Houston)

Primary Purpose: Assist the Equine Manager in daily operations of the Houston SPCA Equine and Farm Animal program, ensuring that every animal and customer receives the highest quality care and service

Primary Purpose:

The Digital Marketing and Database Coordinator will play a key role in supporting vital aspects of the Development and Marketing Team?by managing all aspects of Houston SPCA digital fundraising CRM tool.

Essential Functions of the Position:

  • Responsible for management of online CRM tool (EveryAction)
  • Coordinate directly with the agency of record (Pursuant) to build trackable campaign pages, report success, and ensure deliverability.
  • Understand all aspects of EveryAction database function and can build simple and complex queries for marketing efforts.
  • Ability to perform primary database functions like bulk list uploads, deduping, updating donor records, creating tracking codes, and other duties.

Development Administration Manager (Texas, Houston)

Primary Purpose:

The Development Administration Manager is accountable for the management, maintenance, integrity and operation of the Donor databases for the Houston SPCA. This position provides gift processing, budgetary assistance, oversight of acknowledgement process, monthly reconciliation of gifts, development operations, prospect research, fundraising analytics, and reporting to support all of Houston SPCA annual fund and capital programs. This position is accountable to insure all development database processes are professionally executed and uphold the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Essential Functions of the Position:

  • This role is responsible to manage, maintain, and operate multiple CRM systems, in support of Development activities, including staff training and creating documentation.
  • Responsible for providing departmental budgetary oversight and assistance for revenue projections and department expenses to finance.
  • Manage the donation process system to ensure entry is correct and timely, that corrections and adjustments are made as needed.
  • Oversees appropriate staff to ensure acknowledgement process is accurate, timely and properly archived, recording supporting documents for donations (such as acknowledgement letters, tax receipts, fair market value, etc.)
  • Develop, research and generate fund development reports such as weekly and monthly revenue projections, current revenue reports, pledge reports, cash timing information and assist with campaign reporting as needed.
  • Provide prospect research information for Development and Executive staff.
  • Create, maintain, prepare, send, and follow up (as appropriate) pledge reminders/invoices.
