Missing Dog Who Was Viciously Kicked in Viral Facebook Video is Now Safe at Houston SPCA

Houston SPCA Animal Cruelty Team and Houston Police Department Find Missing Dog While Posting Flyers and Actively Searching Area

(HOUSTON) October 15, 2020 – Around 11 a.m. today, several members of the Houston SPCA’s Animal Cruelty Team and officers with the Houston Police Department found the missing dog while passing out flyers and speaking to residents in southeast Houston. A Good Samaritan, who said she was caring for the dog came forward during the search and turned him in after she saw one of the flyers. The dog was last seen on a Facebook video being viciously kicked from inside a car as onlookers laughed.

 According to the Houston SPCA’s chief veterinarian, Dr. Dev, the dog is less than a year old and is still considered a puppy. He is now safely in the care of the Houston SPCA where he will be given a full exam and care as the investigation is still ongoing.
